Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The patients were of any gender and aged 35-60 years; consent for periodontal examination: consent to record periodontal indicators such as the depth of periodontal probing, the degree of attachment loss, the number of teeth lost due to periodontitis, the degree of looseness of the teeth, the plaque index, the degree of bleeding on probing, and the gingival recession; consent for imaging: consent to take a curved surface tomography film or a CBCT in order to define the bone resorption and other related conditions;Facial assessment consent: consent to take front and side photographs for completing the assessment of perceived age and facial wrinkle scores; cognitive function assessment consent: consent to perform cognitive function assessment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with severe cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, or cancer, exclusion of patients with recent major illnesses or surgeries, long-term use of hormonal medications or immunosuppressive drugs, individuals with severe cognitive dysfunction or psychiatric disorders, exclusion of those with extreme socio-economic status, poor adherence to the investigator's prognosis, or other factors that make it undesirable to participate in this trial.
