Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.aged >= 65 years; 2.scheduled for elective total knee arthroplasty; 3.combined with sarcopenia according to Asian Working Group on Sarcopenia (2019); 4.ASA physical status classification I-III; 5.expected length of hospital stay >= 7 days; 6.patients and their families are informed, and have signed the informed consent;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.with a history of lower limb fracture surgery; 2.combined with significant organ or system dysfunction; 3.combined with severe cervical or lumbar spine lesions, joint deformities, fractures, severe pain, or primary thrombotic diseases or other situations not suitable for resistance training; 4.gouty arthritis or hemophilia-related arthritis; 5.combined with severe visual or hearing impairments; 6.combined with delirium, dementia, or other severe psychological disorders or personality disorders; 7.combined with severe neurological and muscular system diseases; 8.combined with severe drug dependence, addiction, or alcoholism;
