Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Case group: Adolescent patients aged 12-18 (including 12 and 18 years old) who visited the outpatient department or ward of Beijing Psychiatric Hospital, with normal intellectual level and no major physical diseases. They were diagnosed by two psychiatrists and met the diagnostic criteria of DSM-5. They were screened and evaluated using the K-SADS-PL questionnaire for emotional disorders and schizophrenia in school-age children (6-18 years old) by professionally trained interviewers. Bipolar disorder group: meets the diagnostic criteria of DSM-5 bipolar and related disorders, with an MDQ score of >= 5. Depressive disorder group: meets the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for depressive disorders. 2.Healthy control group: Select healthy adolescents from middle schools and communities, aged 12-18 years (including 12 and 18 years), with normal intellectual levels, no history of mental illness, and no major physical illnesses among themselves or their first-degree relatives. Structured interviews were conducted by professionally trained interviewers using the K-SADS-PL questionnaire for children aged 6-18 with emotional disorders and schizophrenia, to exclude current or past mental disorders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants in both the case and control groups were excluded based on the following criteria: 1.History of organic brain disorders or significant physical illnesses; 2.Diagnosis of severe psychiatric disorders, including: Schizophrenia, Intellectual disability, Substance-induced mental disorders, Organic psychosis; 3.Presence of severe agitation, impulsivity, or inability to cooperate with study procedures.
