Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. For patients diagnosed with sepsis, the following two conditions should be met simultaneously :a) Confirmed infection or suspected infection; b) The SOFA score (see Appendix A) increased by >=2 points compared with the baseline or IL-6>20pg/mL. 2. Age between 18 and 85(inclusive) years old; 3.Obtain the informed consent of the patient or their legal representative.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe active bleeding or DIC and systemic circulatory failure that is difficult to correct with medication; 2.Those who are severely allergic to blood products or drugs used during the treatment process, such as plasma and heparin; 3.Those who have mental disorders and cannot cooperate well with the treatment; 4.Those who were previously intolerant to plasma exchange or had a history of allergy to other cardiopulmonary bypass treatments; 5.Those with a history of allergy to the membrane of the plasma separator.
