65 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged >= 65 years old, scheduled for elective non-cardiac surgery (general surgery, orthopedics, urology, etc.). MMSE score >= 21 points on the day before surgery (excluding baseline severe cognitive impairment). Informed consent signed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Preoperative diagnosis of dementia, mental illness or long-term use of sedative drugs. Emergency surgery, preoperative admission to the intensive care unit (ICU). Conversion to cardiac surgery or cancellation of surgery during the operation.
