Chronic ankle instability is a common sequelae of sports injury. It is an important research object in the field of sports medicine. Patients are usually accompanied by balance dysfunction, pain, swelling and so on.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age between 18 and 60 years old, regardless of gender ; 2.At least one severe history of ankle sprain with inflammatory symptoms ( e.g., pain and swelling ) was observed within 12 months before enrollment, and the required physical activity was interrupted for at least 1 day. There was a feeling of ankle instability but no serious sprain within 3 months before enrollment; 3.At least 2 times of ankle ' soft leg ' and / or repeated sprains and / or ' instability ' within 6 months before enrollment ; 4.Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool ( CAIT ) score < 24 ; 5.Patients are willing to provide signed informed consent ;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who had undergone surgery on the musculoskeletal structure of both lower limbs ( i.e.bones, joint structure and nerves ) ; 2.Both lower limbs fracture and need to be reset ; 3.In the past 3 months, due to the acute injury of musculoskeletal structure of other joints of lower limbs, the integrity and function of joints ( such as sprains and fractures ) were affected, resulting in the interruption of ideal physical activity for at least one day ;
