50 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 50 and 80 years old, regardless of gender; 2. Meeting the diagnostic criteria for advanced knee osteoarthritis in the "Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Osteoarthritis (2024 Edition)"; 3. Having undergone the initial total knee replacement surgery in our hospital, with a tibial stem used during the operation; 4. Without serious comorbidities such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and hepatic and renal insufficiency; 5. The Body Mass Index (BMI) ranges from 25 to 35; 6. Voluntarily participating in this study and signing the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who had uncontrolled cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes, abnormal liver and kidney functions, as well as mental disorders prior to the operation; 2. Individuals with a severe history of smoking and alcoholism and lacking essential economic and social support; 3. People who have previously undergone osteotomy or other knee-preserving treatment measures influencing knee replacement surgery; 4. Cases where knee pain is caused by other illnesses like bone tumors, rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, and gout; 5. Those whose American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification is higher than grade III; 6. Other lower limb surgeries were carried out during the follow-up period, which had an impact on the rehabilitation process and the normal use of the knee prosthesis.
