Age
18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-60 years; 2.History, physical examination, ultrasound, and MRI suggesting a clear diagnosis of acute ankle sprains; 3.Proposed conservative treatment; 4.Within 48 h after the first sprain; 5.Informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Combination of ankle fracture or severe osteochondral injury; 2.Severe neuromuscular disorders; 3.Takakura ankle arthritis grade >=3; 4.History of previous ankle surgery or treatment; 5.Combination of severe medical conditions.
