Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Ages 18-60, gender not restricted; (2) Meets the diagnosis criteria of melasma, there must be brown to dark brown patches on the face with clear boundaries, without inflammatory manifestations and scales, and other diseases that cause pigmentation are excluded, and other characteristics may be combined;(3) Confirmed as epidermal type, dermal type, or mixed type of melasma by Wood lamp; (4) Fitzpatrick skin typing 3or4; (5) Able to adhere to the treatment and did not use other methods of treatment during the follow-up period; (6) Subjects voluntarily participate need to sign an informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Pregnant and lactating women; (2) Patients with severe heart, liver, or kidney dysfunction; (3) Those have used other skin-lightening products and medications, chemical peeling, laser, and other treatment methods within the past month; (4) Those who have taken isotretoin or oral contraceptives within the past month; (5) Facial edema, ulceration, erosion, or recurrent herpes infection; (6) acne or active facial dermatitis, sensitive skin; (7) History of hypertrophic scarring or keloid scars; (8) Those who cannot adhere to treatment cannot avoid excessive exposure to sunlight; (9) Patients with psychiatric disorders or severe systemic diseases.
