Sarcopenia

Interventions

Time-restricted eating: daily eating window limited to 10 consecutive hours, fasting for the remaining 14 hours
Intervention Group A: Nordic Walking + High-Protein Diet + Time-Restricted Eating:Nordic walking 3 times/week, 45–60 min/session, moderate intensity (60–75% HRmax)
High-protein diet (=1.3g/kg/day) guided by a dietitian
Time-restricted eating: 10-hour eating window daily (e.g., 8:00–18:00), 14-hour fasting.
Intervention Group B: Nordic Walking + Time-Restricted Eating:Nordic walking: 3 sessions per week, 45–60 minutes per session, at moderate intensity (60–75% of maximum heart rate)
No additional protein supplementation is allowed. Participants will maintain habitual dietary patterns, and daily protein intake must remain below the level of Group A (<1.3g/kg/day).
Control Group C: Normal lifestyle:No structured exercise or dietary intervention

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Postmenopausal women aged between 55 and 75 years; 2.Sedentary lifestyle, defined as engaging in moderate-intensity physical activity less than 150 minutes per week; 3.Willing and able to comply with the dietary and exercise intervention protocols throughout the study period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosed dementia or severe cognitive impairment; 2.Uncontrolled chronic diseases (such as severe hypertension, diabetes, or cardiopulmonary disease), or recent fracture history within the past 6 months; 3.Currently consuming protein supplements (specifically applicable to the high-protein diet intervention group); 4.Untreated thyroid disorders, ongoing hormone replacement therapy, or severe renal/hepatic dysfunction.
