Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged >=18 years; Han ethnicity; Singleton pregnancy; Meets the diagnostic criteria of the International Association of Diabetes and Pregnancy Study Groups (IADPSG) in 2010: A 75g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) is performed at 24-28 weeks of gestation, with fasting blood glucose levels between 5.1 mmol/L and =10.0 mmol/L, and 2-hour OGTT blood glucose between 8.5 mmol/L and <11.1 mmol/L. A diagnosis of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is made if any one of the above blood glucose values is met; Willing to participate in the cohort study and undergo relevant questionnaires and blood sample collection after being informed of the content of the investigation, and to sign an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age <18 years; ethnic minorities; pre-gestational diabetes; overt diabetes during pregnancy; presence of other endocrine diseases (such as thyroid disease) or cardiovascular diseases (such as hypertension); history of relevant medication use within the past two weeks (e.g., corticosteroids, hormonal contraceptives, phenytoin, antipsychotic drugs, etc.); non-natural conception; multiple pregnancies; acute or chronic complications of diabetes; malignancies or other severe hepatic or renal insufficiency; unwillingness to participate in the study, etc.
