Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Neonates within 28 days of life who were admitted to the neonatal ward in the past three years and were successfully discharged; 2. Had blood biochemical test results available during hospitalization; 3. Completed hearing screening with results available during hospitalization; 4. Had behavioral assessments performed during hospitalization.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Extremely preterm infants (gestational age 42 weeks); 3. Infants delivered with forceps assistance and/or sustaining severe birth injuries(e.g., fractures, brachial plexus injury); 4. Infants with intrauterine infections; 5. Infants with severe fetal distress and/or neurological damage from other confirmed causes.
