Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years?; 2.?? High-risk population with suspected sepsis (meeting any one of the following criteria):?? ??(1) Evidence of infection?? (positive microbiological culture); ??(2) Systemic inflammatory response?? (at least two of the following: Body temperature >38°C or 90 beats per minute; Respiratory rate >20 breaths per minute or PaCO2 12×10?/L or 10%); ??(3) Organ dysfunction?? (SOFA score >=2). 3. Within 12 hours of admission to the emergency department (ED) or ICU?;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with cancer?; 2. Patients with blood system diseases?; 3. HIV-seropositive individuals?; 4. Patients with end-stage liver and/or kidney failure?; 5.?? Patients with autoimmune disorders?; 6. Patients who received hormonal therapy or immunosuppressants in the last 6 months?; 7.?? Patients with a history of organ transplantation, including bone marrow, liver, kidney, or lung transplants?; 8. Participants with missing or incomplete study data?; 9. Patients diagnosed with sepsis at the time of initial medical presentation?;
