Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for type II diabetes: Age >= 65 years; clinically diagnosed with type II diabetes; with a diagnosis certificate or hospital examination report issued by a professional doctor; fasting blood glucose >= 7.0 mmol/L, 2-hour post-meal blood glucose >= 11.1 mmol/L, two-hour blood glucose after 75g oral glucose tolerance test > 11.1 mmol/L, and the patient's glycated hemoglobin level >= 6.5% (one of the above criteria is sufficient); stable blood glucose control for more than 6 months. Inclusion criteria for healthy individuals: The inclusion criteria for this study are as follows: elderly individuals aged 65 years and above; in good health, without a history of serious diseases; no falls in the past year; no sensory organ, auditory organ or nervous system damage in the past half year; in good mental state, without a history of drug and alcohol dependence.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Type I diabetes or special type of diabetes; dominant leg is the left leg; unable to sit, stand independently and walk unsteadily; history of stroke, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy and other central nervous system diseases; history of cerebrovascular diseases and other cranial brain diseases; accompanied by type II diabetes complications other than cognitive impairment that affect motor function, such as peripheral neuropathy, diabetic foot, retinopathy, etc. Severe visual impairment and visual field defect history; lower limb fractures, deformities, disabilities, severely impaired motor function; accompanied by language and hearing impairments that make it difficult to cooperate with the experiment; repeated severe hypoglycemia; experience in practicing Tai Chi.
