Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing thyroid surgery under general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation. 2.Aged between 18 and 65 years. 3.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification I to III. 4.Body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 and 30 kg/m^2.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Acute heart failure, unstable angina, myocardial infarction within the past 6 months, or resting heart rate = 160 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure >= 100 mmHg; 3. Acute respiratory tract infection, acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or poorly controlled asthma; 4. End-stage renal failure or decompensated hepatic function; 5. Psychiatric disorders including schizophrenia, mania, bipolar disorder, or cognitive impairment; 6. Allergy to benzodiazepines; 7. History of benzodiazepine use within the past 3 months or previous general anesthesia; 8. Severe surgical complications such as thyroid storm, recurrent laryngeal nerve injury, or airway collapse; 9. Pregnant or lactating women; 10. Individuals with psychosocial issues or other reasons making them unable to cooperate.
