Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. A pathological diagnosis confirming esophageal cancer, staged as 0, I, II, or III; 2. Age >= 18 years; 3. Understanding the purpose of the research and expressing a willingness to participate in this investigation; 4. Having undergone or being scheduled for surgical treatment of esophageal cancer.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Unaware of the diagnosis of esophageal cancer; 2. Diagnosed with cognitive impairment or psychological and psychiatric disorders; 3. Experiencing changes in condition or accompanied by other severe comorbidities.
