Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients >= 18 years old classified as American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-III; (2) Undergoing elective thoracoscopic lung surgery; (3) Receiving intercostal nerve blocks applied with liposomal bupivacaine or ropivacaine at the end of the surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) had chronic pain before the surgery; (2) had severe preoperative anxiety or depression status on long-term medication; (3) had a history of thoracic surgery; (4) underwent bilateral pulmonary resection or conversion to open surgery; (5) had tumour recurrence or metastasis after surgery; (6) had hepatic disease (Child-Pugh classification C) or renal failure (receiving renal replacement therapy); (7) missing main outcome.
