Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Older people over 60 years old; 2. The length of stay in the old-age care institution is >=6 months; 3. Moderate and high dementia fear level, with a score of >=54 by using the Fear of Dementia Scale (FODS); 4. Informed consent and voluntary participation in the investigation; 5. No communication barriers, able to complete the investigation independently or with the help of others.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed as mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer's disease or dementia by health care workers; 2. Beijing Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale <=25; 3. those with serious mental illness and mental abnormality; 4. the elderly with serious diseases or terminal diseases; 5. Those who have recently experienced other major life events.
