Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients, age >=18 years old 2. patients with complete cone-beam computed tomography ( CBCT ) scan data: (1) T0 (preoperative), (2) T1 (after immediate implantation), (3) T2 (1-2 years after immediate implantation), and (4) T3 (3-5 years after immediate implantation) 3. the patient receives an immediate implant in the extraction socket with a parallel crown restoration; 4. during the follow-up period, the results of the overall treatment and restoration satisfaction questionnaire can be provided Translated with DeepL.com (free version);

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with half or full mouth implant restorations; 2. patients with missing or unclear CBCT images and the presence of artifacts affecting data measurement; 3. patients with failed implant dislodgement.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
T2 and T3 time nodes, thickness change value of alveolar/palatal bone wall at 2mm, 4mm and 6mm below the implant shoulder on the flat implant shoulder; percentage reduction in relativ;Relative Volume Reductio;

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in the height of the ridge crest to the shoulder platform of the implant;marginal bone resorption;patient satisfaction;
