Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Meet the international diagnostic criteria for MCS established by Giacino in 2002 or the UWS diagnostic criteria proposed by Laureys in 2010; 2.Duration of illness >=28 days, with no tendency towards improvement in consciousness within the past month; 3.No sedative or anti-epileptic drugs (sodium or calcium channel blockers) have been used within the past month; 4.Vital signs are stable; 5.No obvious brain edema, hydrocephalus, or severe cerebral atrophy; 6.Age range of 18-75 years; 7.Patient's family member signs informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of previous neurological or psychiatric illness; 2. History of previous head or brain trauma; 3. History of tumor; 4. Taking sedative or anti-epilepsy drugs within the past month; 5. Unstable vital signs; 6. Skull defect; 7. Patient's family members refuse to sign informed consent form.
