Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Clinically confirmed diagnosis of herpes zoster. 2.Persistent herpes zoster-associated pain with a Visual Analog Scale (VAS) score > 3. 3.Herpes zoster lesions located in the cervical, thoracic, or lumbar regions. 4.Age between 18 and 80 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Long-term corticosteroid use. 2.Infection at the puncture and/or injection site(s). 3.Coagulation disorders that cannot be corrected within a short period. 4.Hepatic or renal insufficiency. 5.Presence of spinal tumors, fractures, or herniated discs in the pain-affected region. 6.Allergy to bupivacaine or other local anesthetics. 7.Diagnosed psychiatric disorders. 8.Patients who decline to participate or lack independent legal capacity to consent.
