Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Adult patients who meet the criteria for MODS (diagnostic criteria for MODS include simultaneous or sequential functional impairment or failure of two or more organs or systems in the respiratory, circulatory, liver, kidney, blood, gastrointestinal, metabolic, and central nervous systems, evaluated using a multi organ dysfunction rating scale with a score greater than or equal to 2 points). (2) Among them, 20 received routine treatment and 20 received routine treatment plus HVHF treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Relative contraindications for HVHF, such as inability to establish appropriate vascular access, allergies to extracorporeal blood pathways and other materials, severe coagulation dysfunction, and severe active bleeding, especially intracranial hemorrhage; (2) Patients or family members who refuse to undergo testing; (3) Pregnancy.
