Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. 6-12 years of age; 2. a clinical diagnosis of ADHD using a combined approach by expert child clinicians. The diagnosis of ADHD will be according to the DSM-5, the Swanson, Nolan, and Pelham Rating Scale (SNAP-IV) for parents will be used as screening for the diagnosis of ADHD, and the Diagnostic Interview Schedule for Children (DISC-IV) with parents will be used to confirm ADHD diagnosis and other comorbidities.; 3. a full-scale intellectual quotient (IQ) of at least 80 measured, as measured by a clinical psychologist using the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, 4th Edition (Hong Kong) (WISC-IV-HK); 4. physically able to participate in the intervention and able to follow the instructions; 5. no medication use (medication-naive or medication withdrawal for at least 6 months prior to study enrolment and having no plan for changing medication during the study period)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Comorbid with other psychiatric disorders or neurological abnormalities; 2. Suffering from other diseases that affect physical fitness; 3. Currently has substance abuse or dependence; 4. Secondary attention deficit hyperactivity disorder caused by organic diseases (such as obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome); 5. Contraindications to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
