Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient exclusion criteria were as follows: (1) age 60 years; (2) body mass index =30 kg/m2; (3) negative Allen's test; (4) patients who had previously undergone multiple arterial punctures or radial artery cannulation; and (5) patients with peripheral vascular disease, hemorrhagic shock, atherosclerosis, coagulation disorders, or Raynaud's disease.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
First puncture success rate;Success rate of tube placement;Measurement of the diameter of the radial artery under ultrasound;

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
