Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnostic criteria for MPP: (1) symptoms and signs suggestive of CAP, including fever, cough, abnormal auscultation of the lungs, and/or new infiltrates on chest x-ray; (2) positive for MP-IgM in a single serum (titer >=1:160); Double serum MP antibody titers increased 4-fold or more during the course of illness or positive MP-RNA test. Refractory mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (RMPP): refers to children with MPP who have been treated with macrolide antimicrobials for 7 days or more, but still have persistent fever, exacerbation of clinical signs and lung imaging, and extrapulmonary complications Children who meet the above diagnostic criteria for MPP and are hospitalized with informed consent from their families.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Positive test for other pathogens; 2. Have received glucocorticoids or immunosuppressive therapy before admission; 3. Primary/secondary immunodeficiency; 4. Children with congenital airway malformations, congenital heart disease, and pre-existing chronic respiratory diseases; 5. Hereditary metabolic diseases; 6. The medical record information is incomplete.
