Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. At least 18 years old. 2. Before the operation, they met the surgical indication criteria as stipulated in the "Chinese Guidelines for Surgical Treatment of Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (2019 Edition)", that is, their body mass index (BMI) was >= 32.5 kg/m². 3. They visited multiple centers such as the Shao Yi Fu Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine (the lead unit) and were scheduled to undergo bariatric metabolic surgery under general anesthesia for the first time. 4. They were conscious and able to communicate effectively. 5. They voluntarily participated in this study and signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. After the operation, there were severe complications such as gastrointestinal bleeding and anastomotic fistula. 2. Vulnerable groups, including those with mental disorders, cognitive impairments, critically ill patients, pregnant women, and illiterate individuals.
