Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We retrospectively enrolled infants undergoing surgical repair of esophageal atresia with/without tracheoesophageal fistula (EA/TEF) at our institution between June 2017 and September 2024.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) intraoperative mortality, (2) absence of postoperative ICU admission, and (3) early postoperative discontinuation of treatment by family members
