Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age greater than 18 years old; 2. Typical gastroesophageal reflux symptoms (e.g., heartburn, acid reflux); 3. Barium esophageal swallow/gastroscopy showed that hiatal hernia/grade B, grade C, grade D esophagitis/Barrett's esophagus.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who lost follow-up; 2. Patients who are concomitant for other surgical treatments; 3. Patients with incomplete clinical data (including questionnaires that were not conducted before surgery: dysphagia score scale, disease-specific gastrointestinal symptom rating scale, and gastroesophageal reflux disease-specific quality of life questionnaire); 4. Patients who are unable to provide informed consent; 5. Patients who have undergone GERD-related surgeries in the past; 6. Patients with comorbid psychiatric disorders/unable to communicate in Mandarin.
