50 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age range: 50 - 80 years old, gender not restricted; (2) Diagnosed with end-stage osteoarthritis, Kellgren-Lawrence grade (KL) 3-4, standard conservative treatment for more than 6 months was ineffective; (3) Have undergone unilateral knee arthroplasty (TKA) surgery; (4) Within three months of the perioperative period, no joint cavity puncture or drug injection, no joint surrounding dressing, etc. were performed, and the infection risk assessment was low; (5) All surgeries were performed by doctors with a title of associate chief physician or above, with more than 100 TKA surgeries per year and having independently completed more than 300 such surgeries; perioperative care was implemented in accordance with the same joint replacement management norms; (6) Complete preoperative and postoperative blood routine tests, preoperative coagulation function, inflammatory indicators, blood sugar, lower extremity vascular color ultrasound and other examination and test data were available.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with bilateral knee osteoarthritis (OA) who underwent simultaneous bilateral total knee arthroplasty (TKA); (2) Patients with bilateral OA who received TKA surgery within a gap of less than 2 months consecutively; (3) Patients who received anticoagulant treatment due to concurrent cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases before the surgery; (4) Patients diagnosed with purulent infection of the knee joint through tissue culture or case diagnosis during or after the surgery; (5) Patients with a clear diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis, or traumatic arthritis.
