Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Experimental group: adults (>=18 years old), spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage confirmed by CT/MRI (admission within 24 hours of onset), supratentorial hemorrhage (excluding brainstem/cerebellar hemorrhage to reduce heterogeneity). Control group: healthy control group (age/sex matched, no history of cerebrovascular disease).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Traumatic ICH, tumor stroke, severe hepatic and renal insufficiency. Recent use of immunosuppressive or apoptosis-modulating drugs (e.g., chemotherapy agents).
