Interventions

Group 1: Posterior vertebral endplate preserved (intact endplate)
Group 2:Posterior vertebral endplate removed up to the posterior edge of the cage (no cage overhang)
Group 3:Posterior vertebral endplate removed with 10% cage overhang
Group 4:Posterior vertebral endplate removed with 20% cage overhang
Group 5:Posterior vertebral endplate removed with 30% cage overhang
Group 6:Posterior vertebral endplate removed with 40% cage overhang
Group 7:Posterior vertebral endplate removed with 50% cage overhang
Group 8:Complete removal of vertebral endplate, with cage directly contacting cancellous bone

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: One healthy adult cervical spine 3D CT scan meeting the following criteria: 1. Aged 18-60 years old, without osteoporosis 2. No cervical spine pathologies such as infection or tumors 3.No prior surgical history in the cervical spine

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Abnormal cervical curvature / Loss of cervical lordosis 2.Previous cervical spine surgery or traumatic injury 3.History of rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis or other systemic connective tissue disorders
