18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Pathologically confirmed esophageal carcinoma scheduled for radical esophagectomy; 2. Aged 18–80 years; 3.ASA physical status classification II–IV.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe comorbidities involving cardiac, hepatic, pulmonary, or renal systems; 2. History of neurosurgical procedures or traumatic brain injury; 3. Advanced esophageal carcinoma with distant metastases (e.g, brain, liver); 4. Preoperative history of epilepsy, dementia, or psychiatric disorders; 5. Chronic use of psychotropic medications; 6. Communication barriers (hearing/speech impairment) precluding baseline neurocognitive assessment.
