Interventions

AM_ resistance exercise group:Standardized lower-limb resistance training (3 sessions/week for 4 weeks), starting daily at 8:00 AM
PM_ resistance exercise group:Standardized lower-limb resistance training (3 sessions/week for 4 weeks), starting daily at 6:00 PM

18 Years to 30 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy males aged 18–30 years; Currently enrolled university students with good compliance; No history of chronic diseases, metabolic disorders, or musculoskeletal injuries; No participation in any systematic resistance training or competitive sports within the past two months; No history of smoking or excessive alcohol consumption; Willing to participate in the study and provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, hepatic or renal dysfunction, or major metabolic disorders; Presence of musculoskeletal disorders or injuries that impair exercise performance; Use of medications or nutritional supplements (e.g., protein powder, creatine, caffeine) within the past 2 months; Incomplete participation in the full training protocol; Failure to complete post-training sampling or refusal to provide blood samples; Voluntary withdrawal or dropout during the study period.
