Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria: 1.Scheduled to undergo elective median sternotomy cardiac surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB); 2. Low-weight infants (body weight <=10 kg; age between 29 days and 365 days); 3.Signed informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria: 1. Presence of preoperative complications (including chronic kidney disease or hematological disorders, etc.); 2. Undergoing heart transplantation; 3. History of cardiac surgery; 4. Use of deep hypothermic circulatory arrest or regional low-flow perfusion during cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB); 5. Preoperative hemoglobin level < 80 g/L.
