Interventions

Intervention group:Performing regular Tai Chi exercise based on conventional treatment.
Control group:Routine hemodialysis treatment and nursing care, daily activities as usual, without any exercise intervention.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged >= 18 years, undergoing hemodialysis treatment at this center for >= 3 months, with comprehensive physical condition assessment meeting the requirements for exercise training, capable of verbal communication, and willing to sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Unable to participate in the current exercise program due to perceived physical or psychological impairments. (2) Inability to undergo MRI scans (due to metal implants/prostheses, claustrophobia, etc.). (3) Inappropriate to exercise according to the exercise requirements. (4) Recent significant changes in resting electrocardiogram indicating significant ischemia, recent myocardial infarction (within 2 weeks), or other acute cardiac events; unstable angina pectoris; uncontrolled arrhythmia causing symptoms or hemodynamic impairment; symptomatic severe aortic stenosis; uncontrolled symptomatic heart failure; acute pulmonary embolism or pulmonary infarction; acute myocarditis or pericarditis; suspected or known dissecting aortic aneurysm; acute systemic infection with fever, generalized pain, or lymphadenopathy.
