Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 18 and 35; 2. BMI index greater than 24 (overweight 24.0<=BMI<28.0, obesity 28.0<=BMI); 3. The body fat percentage of men is greater than 25, and the body fat percentage of women is greater than 35; 4. The waist-to-hip ratio of men is greater than 0.9, and the waist-to-hip ratio of women is greater than 0.85; 5. No contraindications to exercise such as heart disease, hypertension, or history of surgery after screening with the International Physical Activity Preparation Questionnaire; 6. No history of regular exercise in the past 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from diabetes, taking hypoglycemic or lipid-lowering drugs, having any known contraindications to exercise, suffering from blood-borne diseases, major diseases or injuries; 2. Participate in other intervention experiments; 3. Irregular exercise habits. All experimental methods and protocols were approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of Beijing Sport University and performed in accordance with relevant guidelines.
