Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with acute oral poisoning or drug overdose 2. Age >= 14 years 3. The patient or their legal guardian has signed the informed consent form 4. If the patient has impaired consciousness, administration via nasogastric tube is permitted under airway protection and with informed consent from the legal guardian

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Poisoning caused by alcohols (e.g., ethanol, methanol, and glycols such as ethylene glycol), inorganic salts (e.g., sodium chloride), metals and their inorganic compounds (e.g., lithium, iron, or other heavy metals such as lead or mercury), organic solvents (e.g., acetone, dimethyl sulfoxide, gasoline), acids and alkalis, or cyanides 2. Exposure to toxins that inhibit gastrointestinal motility (e.g., anticholinergic agents, opioids, etc.) 3. Impaired consciousness with absent swallowing reflex and no airway protection 4. Gastrointestinal corrosion, bleeding, injury, or suspected perforation 5. Persistent or recurrent vomiting 6. Inability to obtain informed consent
