Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for subjects with gingivitis: 1. Gums are red, swollen, shiny, and prone to bleeding when touched; 2. Dental plaque covers the tooth surface. Inclusion criteria for subjects with periodontitis: 1. There is no implant restoration in the mouth and no history of orthodontic treatment; 2. Attachment loss of 1-2mm can be seen clinically; 3. The depth of the periodontal pocket should not exceed 4mm; Not receiving any periodontal treatment within 4.3 months; 5. The number of natural teeth in the oral cavity is greater than 20, the number of molars is greater than 4, and there are natural teeth remaining in each quadrant.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with systemic diseases such as severe diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and immune system disease; 2. Patients with severe organ dysfunction, infectious diseases, mental disease, consciousness disorder and malignant tumor; 3. Patients with oral diseases other than periodontitis; 4. History of using mouthwash within 3 months and taking antibiotics or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, immunosuppressants or immunostimulants; 5. In clinical practice, attachment loss is greater than 2mm, or periodontal pocket depth exceeds 4mm.
