Intervention group:An Intervention Programme Based on the Dyadic Symptom Management of Patients after Esophagectomy and Their Family Caregivers

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient 1. Adults >=18 years old; 2. Diagnosed with esophageal cancer by clinicopathologic examination and treated with surgery; 3. Conscious and able to understand and complete questionnaires independently; 4. With 1 designated family caregiver; 5. Consent to participate in this study. Family caregiver 1. Adults >=18 years old; 2. Relatives designated by the patient as taking primary caregiving responsibilities; 3. Conscious and able to understand and complete the questionnaire independently; 4. Consent to participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient 1. unaware of their disease diagnosis and condition; 2. currently receiving adjuvant therapy such as radiotherapy or chemotherapy; 3. with a cognitive impairment or mental illness; 4. Tumor recurrence or concomitant other tumors. Family caregiver 1. with a cognitive impairment or mental illness; 2. Getting paid.
