Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients hospitalized in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2024 who underwent carotid ultrasound examination and were diagnosed with carotid plaques. Following ethics committee approval, a cohort of hospitalized patients with carotid plaques identified via carotid ultrasound will be prospectively enrolled in a planned manner.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a history of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (CHD), stroke, or peripheral arterial disease (PAD). 2. Patients with severe organ failure or malignancies. 3. Patients with cognitive impairment, speech disorders, intellectual disabilities, or other conditions hindering follow-up compliance. 4. Patients with incomplete data, unsatisfactory image quality, or loss to follow-up.
