Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Diagnosis of autoimmune encephalitis meeting the 2016 diagnostic criteria published in The Lancet Neurology and the 2022 Chinese Expert Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment of Autoimmune Encephalitis. (2) Written informed consent obtained from the patient or their legal guardian after a full explanation of the study objectives, procedures, potential risks, and benefits.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Presence of metal implants (e.g., cochlear implants, pacemakers) that may interfere with MRI or MEG examinations. (2) History of other confirmed neurological disorders, such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, or neurodegenerative diseases, or major psychiatric disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder). (3) Clinically significant systemic diseases (e.g., uncontrolled diabetes, malignancy, severe hepatic or renal dysfunction). (4) Inability to cooperate with EEG, MEG, or MRI data acquisition or neuropsychological assessments. (5) Anticipated inability to complete study follow-up.
