3 Years to 10 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)Pediatric patients undergoing tonsillectomy and/or adenoidectomy. (2)Age range: 3–10 years, gender unrestricted. (3)American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification: I–II. (4)Preoperative sleep study completed. (5)Ability to return for follow-up assessments as required. (6)Informed consent provided by parents or guardians.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1)History of neurological or psychiatric disorders, or significant neurological, psychological, or developmental impairments. (2)Anticipation of difficult airway management. (3)Presence of respiratory diseases. (4)History of preterm birth. (5)Head, neck, or other surgeries potentially affecting the airway within the past three months.
