18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age range: 18-75 years old; 2. Clinical evidence of infection: fever, elevated inflammatory markers such as C-reactive protein or total white blood cell count; 3. Pleural fluid has any of the following characteristics: purulent to the naked eye, positive bacterial infection culture or Gram staining, and a pH value of less than 7.2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The expected survival period for severe combined diseases shall not exceed three months; 2. Known malignant pleural tumor; 3. Allergic to the ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine used; 4. Individuals with damaged or infected abdominal skin 5. Pregnant and lactating women.
