Gold Standard:The outcome of this study was defined as the clinical diagnosis of depression according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition.

16 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) age between 16 and 65 years; (2) stable medical condition without recent exacerbations; (3) willingness to participate and provide informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) serious comorbidities such as advanced cancer, liver disease, chronic kidney disease, or other major systemic diseases. (2) history of substance abuse or dependence within the past six months; (3) presence of missing data.
