18 Years to 81 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria were: (a) patients older than 18 years old with end-stage KOA who were scheduled to undergo primary unilateral TKA; (b) patients whose cognitive level was sufficient to complete the questionnaires; (c) patients who were fluent in Mandarin for daily communication; (d) patients who consented to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria comprised: (a) patients with a history of other vascular, nerve, muscle, and bone diseases that could affect movement or cause pain symptoms, such as hemiplegia, fractures, ligament injuries, lower limb vascular injuries, etc.; (b) patients who had previously undergone TKA; (c) patients with severe diseases that could affect daily living, such as coronary heart disease, etc.
