Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have undergone facial nerve backbone nerve release between January 1, 2020 and May 31, 2025, with the following surgical criteria: (1) There is no age or gender limit; (2) a clear history of Bell's palsy; (3) definite spasmodic symptoms or associated motor symptoms; (4) Positive muscle response (AMR) of joint exercise electrophysiological abnormalities; (5) patients can accurately describe their own subjective feelings; (6) The patient agrees to participate in the operation, and the patient or his/her guardian with legal significance signs the surgical consent form before the trial; 2. The postoperative follow-up data are complete and available for analysis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Incomplete medical record data, follow-up time less than 3 months; 2. History of severe dementia, schizophrenia and other mental illnesses; 3. Have a history of drugs or drug addiction; 4. History of severe systemic diseases, especially circulatory diseases: such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, unstable angina, and sinus retardation.
