Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria 1. Age >=18 years old; 2. For those diagnosed with sepsis within 12 hours of admission to the department, the diagnostic criteria comply with the international diagnostic criteria of SPESI 3.0. 3. Obtain the informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant or lactating women; 2. Patients with sepsis diagnosed more than 24 hours before admission; 3. With chronic heart disease: (1) with chronic heart failure, NYHA class =3, (2) with moderate to severe mitral and/or aortic valve disease, (3) with chronic cardiomyopathy: hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, dilated cardiomyopathy; 4. With serious complications: terminal stage of malignant tumors; Liver cirrhosis; Diabetic ketoacidosis 5. Specific drugs: current or long-term use of drugs affecting heart function: including ß-blockers (metoprolol, bisoprolol, etc.), positive inotropic drugs (digitalis, digoxin, etc.) 6. Patients with severe renal impairment (eGFR<30 ml/min/1.73m^2) or long-term dialysis 7. Those who took dapagliflozin or other SGLT-2 inhibitors within 12 weeks; 8. Known allergic to any SGLT-2 inhibitor;
