Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patient meets the diagnostic criteria for sudden deafness, aged 18-65 years; 2. No use of antibiotics, probiotics (or prebiotics), hormones or injectable immunizations, antibacterial drugs or hormone drugs within 3 months; 3. The family members have never had a sudden deafness attack, live in the same place as the patient, have similar eating habits, and have not received antibiotics, probiotics (or prebiotics), and hormone drugs within 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The patient or family member has a history of gastrointestinal diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome.
