Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who were successfully diagnosed with hydrocephalus for the first time in this center and underwent VPS surgery. The patients were followed up for one year after the surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who developed infections in our hospital after undergoing VPS surgery at another medical institution, or those who had infections treated and improved after VPS surgery at another hospital and subsequently underwent VPS surgery again in our hospital, or those who developed infections during the recovery period after VPS surgery in our hospital and underwent VPS surgery again. There is no restriction on gender (male or female).
