Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Part I: Inclusion Criteria for Kinesiophobia Influencing Factors and Risk Prediction in Knee Osteoarthritis Patients,500 patients (1) Aged 50-80 years; (2) Diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis (KOA) according to the 2018 Guidelines for Osteoarthritis Diagnosis and Treatment by the Orthopedic Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; (3) Voluntary participation with signed informed consent. Part II: Brain Functional Alterations in KOA Patients with Kinesiophobia,120 patients In addition to meeting the criteria in Part I, participants must also: (1) Be right-handed; (2) Voluntarily undergo cranial MRI examination. Part III: Brain Dynamic Characteristics of KOA Patients with Kinesiophobia Based on the Stuart-Landau Oscillator Model Inclusion criteria are consistent with those outlined in Part II. Part IV: Therapeutic Efficacy and Mechanisms of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in KOA Patients with Kinesiophobia In addition to meeting the criteria in Part II, participants must also: (1) Score >37 points on the Tampa Scale for Kinesiophobia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Part I: Exclusion Criteria for Kinesiophobia Influencing Factors and Risk Prediction in Knee Osteoarthritis Patients (1) Knee pain attributed to rheumatic diseases or other inflammatory disorders; (2) History of knee surgery or prolonged corticosteroid use; (3) Concomitant severe primary cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hepatic, renal, or life-threatening diseases; (4) Psychiatric disorders impairing study compliance. Part II: Brain Functional Alterations in KOA Patients with Kinesiophobia In addition to the exclusion criteria in Part I, patients must be excluded if they meet any of the following: (1) Significant cerebral structural abnormalities (e.g., cerebral malformations, severe stroke, intracranial space-occupying lesions); (2) Diagnosed depression or anxiety disorders; (3) MRI contraindications (e.g., pacemaker implantation, claustrophobia, metallic foreign bodies). Part III: Brain Dynamic Characteristics of KOA Patients with Kinesiophobia Based on the Stuart-Landau Oscillator Model Exclusion criteria are consistent with those outlined in Part II. Part IV: Therapeutic Efficacy and Mechanisms of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in KOA Patients with Kinesiophobia In addition to the exclusion criteria in Part II, patients must be excluded if they meet any of the following: (1) History of epilepsy or suspected epilepsy; (2) Prior exposure to repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) therapy.
